Patience sadly has lost its significance in today’s competitive world.
We are always in a hurry, hurry to catch bus; to reach a place; to get things done and so on. Waiting is something we don’t seem to understand and bear. But we forget that somethings take time.
We have to wait for the egg to hatch to get a chick or wait for the plant grow to a tree and be capable enough of bearing fruits. By being impatient we are increasing our stress level and disappointments only. We deny to taste the fruit of patience, we deny its sweetness unknowingly. Cultivating patience is difficult but not impossible, it is a great virtue. Its true essence is found when perseverance and trust is accompanied by patience.
Being patient means waiting and trusting. When you trust someone or something you are also ready to wait, then success is sure to follow. If we start becoming aware whenever we are irritated or angry or getting panicky; then to calm down we can practice self-talk. This will help us to reason ourselves and understand the situation as a result become solution oriented. So Believe in yourself; trust others and do not give up.
